 Canopy Oaks Elementary School I used this website. I looked at school websites from my hometown but none of them had teacher pages. They had a faculty and staff page but it was just a list of all the teachers and admin. In my hometown, I don't think they do teacher pages anymore. I know parents (elementary school) can download an app to chat with their child's teacher. I think it's just safer that way in this day and age.  Anyway, after looking through this site and a few teacher pages, the information I saw was tutorials, where you can find and submit assignments. Also some resources for school subjects. (Math, science, etc.)  I didn't mind working on assignment 2. My group was great and we finished the assignment three days early. Group projects are scary especially in an online class because some people don't do the work! Sometimes they even use AI to do everything or them. Using Canvas Group was great. The benefit of using AI in lesson planning is not having to overthink. AI is quick, fast, and simple. My thoughts (about ChatGPT specifically) on lesson planning with AI is how long it is. The writing and explanation are wordy. If I was a real teacher and needed help with a lesson plan, this wouldn't matter as much as it does for me now. My concern is teachers solely relying on this and education becoming fake. I would consider using it only if I'm short on time or desperately need help.  Another way I would use Generative AI besides lesson planning would be for an assignment. I would have the students use it. Maybe to show them how to use it without plagiarizing? Or finding a way to make it correlated to TV Production. To address ethical concerns, I would have students write about it or do a presentation. Editing a video may be to educate other classmates about how using it too much is bad. 

I like using generative AI tools instead of Google sometimes because I feel like there's a more direct answer but using these tools like ChatGPT is bad for the environment. It uses much energy and I try not to contribute as much as other people. A lot of things are bad for the environment but, still. Besides being bad for the environment, the benefits I see in using AI for internet searches are more direct answers. My concern is the environment. I would consider replacing Google with AI if it could somehow not be as bad for the environment because it's very direct and most of the time accurate. 

The standard I chose was for grades 11-12. The standard is about using technology to create and post work, whether it's group work or not, to create new discussions and get feedback. I feel prepared to implement this standard because I use the Internet and technology every day. Being in school for most of my life, there are so many online resources I've learned of and think would be helpful for others. Plus, I feel confident in teaching others how to use certain software applications. I picked grade levels 9-12 and subject area Visual Arts. I chose developing and using criteria to select works for a portfolio. I think these resources can be used in my teaching because since I want to teach TV Production, it's important to put something together showcasing your work. Students might not know what to put or what a portfolio is so using these can help them determine what's most important to include.
